Application to Referee High School Volleyball for NBVOA

NBVOA is accepting independent contractor applications for the 2012/2013 High School Girls' Volleyball Season.

New Applicants Only. Current NBVOA officials may be invited to re-apply in mid-April.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

High School Graduate.
Live in Northern California Area, primarily Sonoma, Marin, Napa and surrounding Counties.
Knowledge of Volleyball via either playing, coaching and/or officiating at the high school level or above.
Willing and able to meet all training and testing requirements that begin in August each year.
Available to officiate volleyball most weekdays from 3:30pm to 9:00pm from August 25 thru November 25 each year.
Must be physically and mentally able to officiate volleyball matches.
Have own transportation to travel to/from assignments.
Act and be professional before, during and after volleyball matches.
Have no felony matters revolving around or requiring to not be in the presence of children.
Have an email address and access to a computer and internet to access officials web site.
Have or obtain Liability Insurance either NFHS, NASO or PAVO.
